The Illinois Tech Student Impact Line is a paid, pre-professional opportunity for passionate
students who want to make a tangible impact. As a Student Impact Team member, you’ll
build leadership and communication skills while helping advance the university’s mission
through alumni engagement, fundraising, and philanthropy education.
Now Hiring: Federal Work Study Eligible Students
We are currently accepting rolling applications for the 2025–2026 school year. Only
students who are eligible for Federal Work Study (FWS) may be hired at this time. If you're
unsure about your eligibility, please check with the Office of Financial Aid before applying.
What You’ll Do
As Student Impact Team member, you will:
- Make phone calls to Illinois Tech alumni and friends to share updates, collect feedback, and encourage giving
- Help steward donors with thank-you calls, personalized messages, and storytelling
- Represent the student voice in campaigns like Giving Day, Tuition Freedom Day, and crowdfunding
- Receive paid training in communication, fundraising strategy, and donor engagement
- Build real-world skills in customer service, data management, and persuasive communication

Key Details
- Eligibility: Federal Work Study students only
- Schedule: Hybrid (remote or in-person)
- Shifts: Monday–Thursday between 12 PM and 7 PM
- Commitment: 2–3 shifts per week (flexible around classes)
- Training: Provided and paid
