Graduate Student Scholarships

Illinois Institute of Technology offers a range of aid options for those seeking to pursue a graduate education including assistantships, scholarships, and federal loans. Institutional scholarships are awarded to those with competitive academic credentials. Assistantships are offered through academic departments and colleges with a focus on research and teaching. Federal loans may be available to those who qualify for federal financial aid. 

Students will be considered for scholarships and assistantships upon application to the university. Approximately 30-40% of graduate students receive scholarships annually. Assistantships vary based on the availability of funds to support research and teaching activities and are highly competitive as a result. For those seeking federal financial aid, a  must be submitted to Illinois Tech for eligibility to be considered.  may be available for those ineligible for federal financial aid.
